Handrail Fittings & Tube, For Demanding Environments
Because the tough, impact-resistant material does not corrode, is non-sparking, and can withstand a wide range of chemicals, it is frequently used in water treatment facilities, chemical processing plants, marine and offshore applications, and specialist manufacturing sites with more aggressive environments.
Interclamp GRP offers low electrical conductivity, making it ideal for railings and guardrails around electrical facilities, such as railways. Low thermal conductivity is another significant feature, preventing the tube and fittings from becoming “cold to the touch” in severe temperatures. The Interclamp GRP series has been tested and classed as BS 476: Part 7: 1997 Class 2 by a UKAS approved laboratory in the United Kingdom.
